I’m a fan of the “ready, fire, aim” approach to taking action. Admittedly, it’s gotten me into trouble a few times. But I’ll take a few lumps along the road over wondering “what if” any day.
Too often we get lost in research and analysis when the fastest way to find the answer is to try and see what happens. If we miss the mark or fall off course, at least we have some feedback to gauge a response that is more likely to succeed. And what’s really the worst thing that can happen? Nearly any unwanted result, no matter how catastrophic it appears initially, can be recovered from. Risk, fail, adjust, repeat.

I've been helping people lose weight and get fit since 2001. To learn more about my simple approach to health and fitness

Sorry, Vic, I’ve been a lurker. I’ve read all your posts but havent responded and wanted you to know that I’ve been reading them. I admire that you keep trying. You are one of the most honest people I know. Yeah, things don’t always go like you plan, but you keep coming back. Keep it going. (although occasionally aiming might keep you from getting clobbered from time to time)
Well thank you for your lurking, Lois. Always good to hear from you. And I don’t know if I’m getting better at aiming, but I think I’m getting better at making sure I’m really ready to pull the trigger.
Baby steps!!!!
