We can be, do, or have anything we want with proper habits in place. This isn’t some self-help New Age sound-byte with no teeth. This is fact.
If you are walking around in top physical condition and sporting a set of “six-pack abs”, it is the result of your long standing daily actions regarding diet, exercise, and recovery.
If you can’t see your toes over your beer belly and gasp for breath from walking up half a flight of stairs, it is the result of your long standing daily actions regarding diet, exercise, and recovery.
What ever the state of you finances, relationships, career, musicianship, or paper air plane making abilities – it is the result of your long standing daily actions. Your habits.
Oh sure, shit happens. There are genetic freaks that look like Brad Pitt in Fight Club no matter what they eat. There are people who inherit more money than they can spend and prodigies that have innate mind-blowing talents that are revealed with even a hint of encouragement. But these are the exceptions.
I’ve written about how to create habits previously. But the important thing is to find (and practice) a habit creation method that works specifically for you.
